Porsche 911 GT3 (Type 996 MK II). Its body is based on the four-wheel drive version of the 996 Carrera, which means that it inherits the wider rear track Carrera 4 models are notable for. In this GT3 variant the Porsche engineers incorporated some weight saving techniques by removing unnecessary equipment, while including stiffer adjustable suspension and upgraded brakes to cope with the extra power.
Type 996 GT3 MK2, as pictured above, is powered by 3.6-liter flat six naturally aspirated powerplant producing 381 hp (284 kW) at 7400 rpm. The second generation 996 GT3 was sold in North America, whereas the MK1 GT3 was not.
