The new Porsche 911 GT3 RSR (Type 997, model year 2012). It is powered by 4-liter six-cylinder boxer engine that produces 460 hp (338 kW) with the mandatory air-restrictor. Power is transmitted via sequential six-speed gearbox operated with paddle shifts mounted on the steering wheel. The car is wider than its predecessor by 48 millimeters.

It can be raced in a variety of race series such as Le Mans 24 Hours, FIA World Endurance Championship, Le Mans Series, American Le Mans Series, International GT Open and others. Deliveries will start from January 2012. The selling price of the new 911 GT3 RSR is 498,000 Euro plus VAT of the respective countries.
